On January 27, 2026, a team from the Hearts of Gold Therapy Group visited the children at John Hopkins Children’s hospital in St. Petersburg.
Willa, with her handler Michelle S., visited many children on the different floors of the hospital. They even ran into some pirates that abandoned their ship to get a close up with their tail wagging furry friend. Willa was able to score a pirate toy and a photo with the group before they all headed back to work.
The event was a great day for handler, dog, kids and pirates alike – arrrrr matey!!
