“One parent stopped with their cognitive challenged child to visit with the therapy dogs, hoping that would calm her anxiety.
The child sat with Lysee K’s Gaby, who was more than happy to give her sweet kisses and sit in her lap. After about 10 minutes, the child was soothed and ready to meet her teacher and soon to be new friends! The parents were thrilled that the therapy dogs were there to ease some of the anxiety.”
The dogs also got to meet the school’s mascot, an Eagle.
