From Jackie and handler Lynne who did a visit to HDA FL North Florida Hospital:
“It is seldom that we encounter children at the hospital, but on this day, we ran into 4-year-old Jackson who was in the surgical waiting room with several adults who were trying to keep him entertained. Jackson immediately fell in love with Jackie. We had a long conversation about how similar their names were, what dogs like to eat, and how soft they are.
He did not want Jackie to leave and made me promise to bring him back before we left. His mother was MOST appreciative of the diversion as they waited for her husband, Jackie’s dad, to get out of surgery.
