Volunteers needed:
Dog/Handler team coach – on the ground in Mid-Florida and/or virtual
Experienced therapy dog handlers to follow up by phone call and email exchange with
handler teams for wellness. Active follow up post visits to answer questions and provide guidance.
New and/or active dog/handler teams – on the ground in Mid-Florida
Motivated dogs and their people who have a passion for therapy work. GRRMF rescues and all therapy services friendly dogs paying it forward accepted for consideration and certification to join our program.
Area coordinators – on the ground in Mid-Florida
Assist with certification, team scheduling for visits, manage visit calendar on Google calendar. Supports facility onboarding with on-site visit.
Media liaison – on the ground in Mid-Florida with virtual support
Prepare and deliver verbal communications, such as conferences, press interviews, phone calls and face-to-face 
meetings, and written communications, including press releases, reports and social media updates, to colleagues, collaborators, the public and other interested parties.
Storytellers – virtual
Write wonderful stories about our handler teams, therapy visits and special events for our website and Facebook.
Administration – virtual
Phone and/or computer work (Excel/Google sheets 
knowledge needed) to keep the information current for the important tracking and data reporting.
Facility support – virtual
Support locating, contacting and onboarding new facilities with the area coordinator support.
