GRRMF Spring Reunion in St. Cloud

Saturday, April 6th is our GRRMF Reunion day!

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our volunteers who are an important part of saving every dog entering our rescue program, meet some of our gentle Hearts of Gold dogs and their compassionate handlers and enjoy making  new friends. It’s also a rewarding opportunity for fosters and transporters to see some of their precious pups again with their loving families.

• Our PAWESOME Golden Goods & Raffle Tables – Cash or credit cards accepted
  • Golden goodies galore!
  • Purchase Golden Bingo cards for noon games
  • Golden Raffle tickets for some great gift baskets and items – drawing starts at 1:00pm
  • 50/50 raffle tickets with a bonus drawing for several special gifts – drawing at 1:00pm
  • Stop by and meet Janet and her furbulous team!
• Photo Booth
  • Our photographer, Michael from Pawsitive Change Crew will have his photo booth set up to capture great pup pics or family photos. Bring cute props to match the beach scene backdrop.
• Hearts of Gold Therapy
  • Our GRRMF Hearts of Gold dogs will be on hand for extra cuddles.
  • Their handlers will share information about our program.
  • You may find your like-minded dog may be a match to join this special team!
• Behavior Training Tips from Tiffany
  •  One of our Behavior Trainers, Tiffany Na’ilah from Pawsitive 4Paws, will be on hand to answer training questions.
• Volunteer Central Table
  • Come meet many of our coordinators throughout the day.
  • Free goodie at the table to those wearing one of our “golden gear” shirts, as long as supplies last.
  • Receive helpful information about the different areas in The GRRMF Volunteer Village.

 Specific Events

• 10:00 am: Doors open
  • Check in at the Welcome Table and register for the Doggie Olympics. We appreciate a donation of a new or gently used clean collar or leash for the safety of our rescue dogs.
• 10:15-10:45: Blessings
  • Blessing for the day
  • Angel roll call and moment of silence for our volunteers who passed and the many GRRMF dogs who joined them in 2023/2024.
  • Blessing of the animals attending the reunion.
• 10:45- noon:  Doggie Olympics – $5.00 per game – cash and credit cards accepted
  • Recognizing the summer Olympics this year!
  • Games being planned include the following:
    • Popcorn Toss – One of the favorites for people and especially the pups!
    • I’m a Retriever! – Tennis ball retrieval.
    • Sit / Stay – Patience and pawfect poise.
• Noon – 1:00: Golden Bingo (New this year)
  • Enjoy this new addition for 3 games of Bingo fun!
• 1:00 – 2:00 – 50/50 and Golden Raffle Drawing
  • The long awaited Golden Raffle is back.
  • Collect your winnings before heading home for a happy post event nap with your pooped pup!
