CANCELLED: 2022 Spring GoldenFest Reunion

Sadly due to uncooperating weather we had to cancel the event for the safety of dogs and people. Thank you to our volunteers listed below and our awesome US Naval Cadet American Pride Squadron who all were at the ready to challenge mother nature to make the day the best possible.

We hope to reschedule and will let you know if that can happen in 2022 before the weather becomes too hot for all.

Our super dog friendly annual Central/East Spring GoldenFest Reunion will be held this year! We so missed everyone in 2021.  Save the Date for a planned FURBULOUS day with friends, fur and GRRMF families.

Planning is complete! Here are the great events scheduled for the day and a program for your use in planning.

• Arrive by 10am,  sign in and the first 50 families will receive a goodie bag at the welcome table.
• Meet Ginger Vincent and her therapy pups and teams to learn about our GRRMF Hearts of Gold program
• Sign up with Jan Casey for your onsite dog evaluation for Canine Good Citizen (CGC), the first step of therapy work. Helpful tips to prepare.
• Visit our “Beach” for a family photo session with Michael Eliassen of Pawsitive Change
• Sign up for doggie games with Barbara Burgner!  The games our Facebook followers selected are: Golf Ball Relay, Bobbing for Biscuits and Popcorn Toss. Entry donation of $4.00 per game, 3 for $10.00 to play!
• Purchase your 50/50 raffle tickets for a chance to win a cash grand prize and additional drawings for door prizes.
• Bring your family, furries and mask and all your other goodies to make it a comfortable, fun and safe day for all.  Here is a list to help for packing on reunion day.
