While she is awaiting further treatments, Remi is settling in at her foster home and is enjoying belly rubs, car rides, grooming and daily walks.  She’s buddied up with her golden foster sister and they get along great!

Remi defines the phrase “Velcro dog,” her foster mom can’t move an inch without her popping to her feet to follow her wherever she goes.  She is a good natured dog with no evident fears and zero aggression. Although she hasn’t met any children or cats yet it is felt that she would be fine with both when properly introduced.  

Not a fan of the crate, Remi has adjusted well to it and freely goes in and out as she pleases. She is trusted by her foster family and doesn’t need to be crated while they are away.  Housebroken and somewhat trained -she understands the words “no, stay, off and come” but will turn on her selective hearing routine when she is busy tracking squirrels! 

This pretty brown eyed girl will have to stay calm and her activities will be limited while she is treated for heart worm.  Heart worm is a very long and expensive treatment but GRRMF is dedicated to healing dogs with heart worm.  Your support and donations help us provide this very important treatment to our rescues.  Remi will be feeling better when her treatment is complete and she will be thanking all of you with those sparkling brown eyes.
