Marley found himself in GRRMF because his family had to move and couldn’t take him along.
This friendly, quiet boy is happiest around people. Marley greeted his foster mom and fur sibling with a wagging tail, and settled into his new home easily. In fact, Marley’s tail starts a wiggly wag as soon as he makes eye contact. He enjoys belly rubs, head scratches, brushing – all types of attention. Marley likes to be in the same room as his humans, but is confident enough to go lay down nearby. He just likes to be with you!
Marley is house-broken and can be trusted home alone. He knows basic commands and doesn’t jump when wanting attention or meeting new people. Marley is friendly with other dogs, and ignores squirrels, bunnies and lizards. We haven’t seen him interact with cats, yet, but expect he’d be calmly curious about them. Marley loves children and starts his tail wiggle waggle when he sees or hears them playing.
Marley loves going on walks and has good leash manners. He will play fetch with balls for a bit, but isn’t obsessed endlessly like younger pups. Marley is not a fan of squeaky toys, and doesn’t like loud noises. Not a barker, if Marley needs some love or attention, he puts his head in your lap or nudges you to pet him.
This sociable gentleman is such a happy pup. He’d be delighted to find a loving family to wiggle wag his tail to his heart’s content.
