golden with black rimmed eyes, following her eye surgery. Lady’s surgery for entropion went well. You can see the dark rings around her eyes, but don’t let that fool you. She’s recovering nicely and should be happy and healthy and ready to celebrate the holidays with a new family.

Just like her name, Lady is a true class act. This sweetheart carries herself with a quiet elegance — she even crosses her legs when she lays down, as if she knows she’s meant to be admired. Behind that poise is a warm, loving dog who will happily roll over the moment you offer a belly rub.

In her foster home, Lady has proven herself to be an easy, peaceful companion. She gets along beautifully with the other dogs and enjoys being part of the household, but she’s not the clingy type. Instead, she will choose a comfy spot nearby where she can curl up and relax while keeping gentle tabs on her people.

When it’s time for a walk, Lady sits patiently to have her harness put on, showing off those good manners yet again. She’s doing well on a leash, but when excitement takes over, this strong girl may give you a bit of a tug so be ready! She loves sniffing around the backyard, exploring the world nose-first, and playing with her favorite purple stuffie.

Lady Nola, a mid aged golden, lying on the concrete with her purple stuffed animal. Lady can be a little vocal when she encounters something unfamiliar or meets someone new, but she settles quickly and warms up with ease. Once she realizes everything is okay, she’s all tail wags and friendliness.

She’s house trained, does not use a crate, and generally prefers the freedom to choose her favorite napping spot. She’s the kind of dog who fits naturally into a home — no fuss, just love.

Lady is currently recovering from eye surgery and an ear infection. With each passing day, she’s feeling better, seeing clearer, and perking up more and more. She’s excited to enjoy the sights, smells, and sounds of the upcoming holidays — ideally with a forever family by her side.

Lady is the whole package: gentle, affectionate, well-mannered, and ready to share her heart with someone who will treasure her. If you think this classy girl might be your perfect match, she would love to meet you.
