Juno is a doggy jewel, sparkling and shimmering, everywhere she goes!
Juno likes every therapy facility she and Carrie visit because they all involve petting! The team regularly visits hospitals, children’s foster homes, reading with children, Memory Care facilities, teen therapy programs and Ronald McDonald House. Her greatest delight, though, is when she recognizes people at a facility and they recognize her: she wiggles with excitement and sometimes gives her friends a little Husky “hello.”
One memorable visit was to the Teen/Young Adult Therapy Treatment Center (part of Rogers Behavioral Health). Juno enjoyed chilling in their lounge while a steady stream of teens, young adults and staff sat next to her on the floor, doting on her, as she smiled her signature smile in return. But her favorite moment to date was when she recognized a patient from Menorah Life Memory Care Facility and he recognized her. She glowed with excitement at seeing her friend and his face similarly lit up. She then cuddled on his feet getting pets as they visited happily together.
At home, Juno loves wrestling with her younger doggy brother Mac every morning, visiting her doggy friends at the dog park, going swimming, and soaking up the sunshine. Endlessly endearing, she’s quite the foodie, getting excited and “talking” for popcorn and salmon. She loves being petted, reminding people nearby that she’s there to be petted with a gentle pat of her big fluffy paw. She and her brothers “Husky” sing together and her beautiful female tone complements their male tones.
With her bright eyes on the future, Juno looks forward to both seeing old friends again and making new friends at upcoming events.
