Need your help!
Help! Transportation is such an important safety step in the wellness of our pups! We really need transporters throughout our area and especially on the west coast in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Polk counties. Also if you live along the I-4 corridor anywhere from Tampa to Orlando and love to drive, this area is one of our busiest routes moving our precious pups across the state.
Our transporters are an awesome team who ensure the safe and gentle arrival of our goldens into the GRRMF program. This is a critical step for our organization as our transporters are the first GRRMF caregivers to see and touch our dogs. Transporters are supported by our wonderful transport coordinator, Sue, who organizes our volunteers based on their availability and comfort level for driving distance and locations to move our dogs safely to and from vet offices, foster homes as well as retrieve the dogs from the surrendering owners.
If you love to drive, meet our new dogs at the threshold and get loving kisses along the way… this is the job for you! Our volunteer hours are mainly weekdays during the day and some Saturday mornings/early afternoons on an exception basis based on volunteer availability.
