Foster Facilitators needed

Foster Facilitators needed

Our foster homes and support of the dogs in their care are the backbone of our rescue and directly connected to how many dogs we can save.

We have a critical role in our organization and looking for additional talent to help us. You may have been a loving foster home at one time and no longer can however still have the passion! This may be a good match for your passion to help dogs and their people who care for them.

Please review the responsibilities below and complete a volunteer application if you are interested.

Any questions can be emailed to volunteer@grrmf.org.

Foster Facilitator –  This skilled communication and coaching role has the voice of the very important knowledge and understanding from the foster and dog’s point of view.  Strong listening,  coaching and time sensitive escalation of issues to partner in-care teams.  Access and working knowledge of a pc, email, texting, in order to gather and record collected information. Ability to effectively communicate and gain insight on situations via verbal and written communications to coach foster families. Knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel a must for ease of communication and tracking. Commitment needed of 2 hours daily based on the number of dogs in our program. You do not need to live in Florida to help. Most communication is by phone, text or email due to the various locations of the foster homes in mid-Florida.
