Third Time's a Charm!
If ever a golden-hearted survivor deserved a third chance at happiness, it was Shadow.
Not only did he lose his entire family in a horrific car crash, tragedy struck again when he later lost his adored adoptive dad as well. GRRMF welcomed lost and lonely, scarred and scared Shadow back into the fold. After a through exam and time for his heart to heal, GRRMF then ensured that he was placed in what we hope will be his true fur-ever home.
The gentlest of giants, now a “sugar-faced” senior, charming and carefree, soft and sweet, loving and loyal, qualities that so perfectly define a Lab, he’s not only the center of his new family’s universe, they’re the center of his. Most content in their company, he thrives on their attention, receiving and returning it ten-fold, and there’s nothing Shadow enjoys more than being petted and groomed, except perhaps, for taking leisurely walks and dining on delicious doggy food.
In a twist of fate, Shadow was adopted by his very first foster family that helped him through those dramatic times.
