Pilots passion saves more for GRRMF

Calling all pilots who LOVE to fly and help save the lives of goldens in need. We have golden rescue partners throughout the US who make us aware of goldens in their areas that they cannot save due to limited space in their rescues. We are starting an out of state “transportation station” to help bring these goldens into Florida. Sometimes we hear about less than 10 dogs and times there can be more!

Starting with Ohio and Louisiana, we are looking to develop a pilot partnership with you and our rescue and the Gainesville Regional Airport FBO for reduced fuel pricing.  Each dog would have a local at source vet exam, necessary immunizations including a rabies vaccination and each dog will be issued a Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) / Health Certificate for transport.  Crates and mutt muffs would be made available for the transport from the Gainesville location.

If you would be interested in participating in this important life saving program, please email your interest to our rescue at info@grrmf. org.  A volunteer will contact you to answer any questions you have and collect information about your availability, aircraft information for space and distance etc. 

We will also give you ongoing updates to the progress of this important new outreach program via a quarterly email newsletter.
