Your pup doesn't seem right today??? Acting strange? Here are some helpful hints and tips.
PLEASE remember to always call your vet!
Ear infections – If your dog frequently shakes her head or scratches at her ear, she could be suffering from an infected ear canal.
Bloat – Called “the mother of all emergencies,” untreated gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV) can be fatal to a dog within hours. Bloat happens when gas or food stretch a dog’s stomach. GDV happens when the distended stomach rotates, trapping the gas inside, and blocking off the stomach’s blood supply.
Diarrhea – Diarrhea is a common canine affliction and it varies in frequency, duration, and intensity from dog to dog. It is often recommended that you avoid giving your dog any food for 12-24 hours while he’s experiencing diarrhea, but do provide plenty of fresh, clean water to stave off dehydration.
Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) – When dogs get UTIs, they may strain or have difficulty urinating, it may be painful for them to urinate, and they may have blood in their urine.
