GRRMF has been invited back to the 2024 Poochapalooza and hope to see all our GRRMF family and friends there! Bring your furry family member(s), their “gear” for the day and a comfortable chair for you and have a great time meeting fellow volunteers and adopters.
Presented by Lake Louisa State Park, we have reserved a special area for our volunteers, adopters and their adopted dogs to “tailgate” to meet each other and make new friends! It is an event designed to celebrate our canine friends and encourage community members to visit Lake Louisa State Park and explore all the park has to offer them and their canine companions. Poochapalooza is a day filled with fun, food, and education. In addition to GRRMF, there will be local dog rescues, veterinary clinics and hospitals, dog groomers, walkers, day care services, and many other dog affiliated or friendly businesses and services to participate in Poochapalooza promoting and/or selling their goods and services.
Attendees of Poochapalooza will have the opportunity to visit vendors and exhibitors, purchase refreshments, see demonstrations, take your pooch on a short obstacle hike for dogs of all abilities, enjoy live music, buy chances at great prizes, and purchase your pooch a run on a lure course.

We will not have adoptable dogs at this event as they are safely tucked in their loving foster homes available to matched approved adopters on our waiting list.
