How we are handling the COVID-19 impact
These are certainly challenging times for all and we at GRRMF thank you for the continued support of our dogs and volunteers. We also want to give you an update about our current activities. We are observing the stay at home order the governor of Florida has instituted.
During this time, we continue to focus our resources on helping people who need to surrender their dogs to our rescue. All of our dogs are continuing to receive the love and care needed in their foster homes. Our amazing transportation team is in place to transport dogs for critical or required medical care. All such transfers follow the safety guidelines outlined by the CDC and the local government of Florida.
We are unable to approve applications for adoptions or fostering at this time since all applications require a home visit in order to be approved. Applications may begin screening according to the availability and wellness of our volunteers, or applications will go into a queue in the order they are received. We will re-evaluate our available processes at the end of April when we receive new or changing orders from the governors office or the CDC. We will update our Web and Facebook pages with the latest information when available. Any questions can be directed to our email address info@grrmf.org.
Thank you for your kindness and offering to help us continue to save homeless goldens and thank you for all that you do for others during this time of great need.
Wishing you health and peace.
