Adoption day was a red letter day for his forever family, who admit that Tommy was the most happy, most lovable dog from the moment they met him.
Putting the “L” into LOVE, Tommy LOVES swimming, playtime with other dogs and squeaky stuffed animals. When presented with one, he takes it very gently out of his parents’ hands, runs off with it, prancing around proudly, and then happily destroys it! The source of infinite joy, he LOVES his grandparents, uncles and cousins, and they love him too. (His parents spend much of their time at home hosting their family for special occasions).
He LOVES car rides and meeting new people. He LOVES being petted and loved on. When his parents take him for a walk, he parks himself in front of everyone he sees and waits until they pet him. (All of the neighbors know to come over and pet Tommy so that his family can continue their walks). And he eagerly accompanies his family to any place that he’s welcome. 
The consummate clown, he LOVES making his parents laugh. An excellent lizard and leaf chaser, when he’s ready to relax, he does the best floor flop: from standing to lying down in one smooth motion. It’s the silliest and cutest thing! Tommy also LOVES to jump in the pool and retrieve toys. He jumps so high and makes the biggest splashes, grabs his toy, and then gently swims around the pool so that everyone can admire his accomplishment.
As smart as he is sociable, Tommy, who has now had some training, faithfully follows the commands he’s learned.
