Zellie’s parents warned their children in advance that they weren’t going to bring her home if she didn’t seem like a good fit. They needn’t have worried. No sooner had they walked into her foster home than sweet Zellie quietly leaned up against her mom’s leg. Husband and wife looked at each other — no side bar needed – and announced, “She’s ours!”
Sweet and sociable Zellie LOVES being close to her family as much as she LOVES feasting on snacks. Not to mention carrying around the yellow Frisbee that she received as a welcome gift from friends. Famous for being the least energetic of dogs except for when she first gets up, she makes everyone laugh by pouncing on her 8-year-old human sister, with whom she sleeps at night, to wake her! Then she proudly walks the oldest child to camp, giving her the chance to parade her golden beauty and sweetness to all of the other children.
Ever so endearing because she’s such a lover, Zellie greets everyone as if it’s her favorite person in the world. Despite her given age of 5, she seems like an old soul, and her dad likes guessing about her “real” age. Then there’s her 15 minutes of zoomies a day when she literally turns into a different dog before reverting once more into her easygoing self.
