When John’s family adopted Mona, a beautiful English Cream Golden from GRRMF at the age of seven, they changed her name to Kaelie.
“She quickly captured the hearts of our entire community,” says John, “with her quiet and gentle ways and ‘ladylike’ demeanor. Blessed with the most loving of natures, Kaelie loved everyone she met and everyone loved her in return.
“Endearingly dubbed ‘a country club girl’ because she was such a well mannered miss, she was also a true blue Floridian.”
Why?
“Because she loved sitting in the pool to cool down after the long walks we took together.
“We were blessed to have Kaelie for five years before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge when she was 12.
Despite the brevity of our time together, she more than made up for it in the quality of that time and in the memories, too numerous to count, that we cherish to this day. Our elegant English Cream Golden was truly that – golden – and she’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.
“We’re so very grateful to GRRMF for the remarkable care they take when it comes to these beautiful dogs.”
