At GRRMF, we work hard to heal our rescues and even harder to place them in the right home. It’s all worth the effort when you hear forever families say, “He has brought such joy into our home.”
Goldie Jasper, now renamed Cody, is one of those heartwarming stories. Given up because he was too much to handle, Cody has found the perfect place to love, grow and shine. His new parents, Marsha and Paul, missed having a dog in their life and were so excited when they first brought him home. Cody was happy, too; he seemed to know he belonged there. Now, he wags his tail from the moment he wakes up until he falls asleep. And when it comes to affection Cody gives just as much as he receives – and he gets a lot of snuggle time!
Cody loves to play and wrestle, but his favorite thing to do is run, especially in the park chasing tennis balls. His mom says he’s a natural athlete and you’d never know he was 8 years old. He flies like the wind after his ball, neatly snags it, and returns for more fun.
Cody, Marsha and Paul all graduated from adult obedience level one and are getting set to master level two. Cody’s a smart dog and is learning quickly.
His parents say, “We can’t thank GRRMF enough for allowing us to bring him into our family! Cody brings joy and laughter to our lives everyday.”
