When this beautiful four-year-old “fur ball” bounded into her parents’ lives last year, Blue made them feel both grateful and blessed!
Her mom considered it quite a miracle that they were chosen out of so many candidates, but she felt they fit Blue’s profile to a “t.” She had recently retired, her husband works from home, and they live on a lake, with five acres of property, one of which was fenced off for their dog Zoe’s safety. Blue’s profile also requested another dog in the family, and she and two-year-old Zoe swiftly formed a wonderful sisterly bond.
Not only has Blue added an abundance of joy to her family, she’s provided Zoe with a life-long partner. She’s LOVING: she has such a beautiful, gentle soul. She’s KIND: she’s amazing with her parents’ grandchildren and always behaves with love. She’s SWEET: she always minds her parents when she’s called and loves to be near them at all times. Her cutest and silliest canine caper: As much as she loves going for walks, she routinely grabs her leash in her mouth and walks herself back home! She does this at the vet on the way out too. When she’s ready, she’s ready. All her mom does, she admits with a laugh, is just hold on.
Although Blue’s not big on toys, once in a while she’ll chew on a rubber bone. What she does love, though, is having balls thrown for her to retrieve outside. She also loves going for boat rides. Like Zoe, she always wears her safety vest, and with the wind blowing like in the film “Titanic,” the two of them are queens of the world! Both she and Zoe love sitting together on the dock, and when they accompany their parents to outdoor restaurants, they love to mingle with the patrons.
Blue’s appreciative mom concludes by saying, “We want to thank GRRMF for all you do to give these beautiful animals a second chance for happiness and love.”
