Summertime is easy living, with sunshine, happy smiles and living with a golden named Summer! She’s sweet and gentle like a warm summer breeze who loves attention and being with people.
Summer didn’t waste any time getting to know her two golden fur buddies who live in her foster home. She took right to them and they are doing great!. She’s not just good with other dogs, she was super sweet with the six year old grandson she was introduced to and she enjoyed spending time with him. A “live and let live” attitude with squirrels, lizards and bunnies is her motto – she didn’t blink and eye when she saw them. Although she hasn’t met any cats yet, it’s fair to say that she would be accepting of them.
This beautiful girl isn’t all looks either, she’s smart too! A trustworthy young dog that is house trained, does well in the house without restrictions and has learned sit, stay, shake, down, come and her favorite – free! Summer loves belly rubs, car rides, being groomed, playing with her toys, fetch and a good game of ball tossing. Walks are great fun too and she is adjusting nicely to walking on a leash. She gets a little startled when loud noises happen on her walks but it hasn’t deterred her from enjoying her strolls outside. Not a fan of those nasty fish oil supplements, she eventually gives in and eats them knowing they will make her skin and coat luscious and beautiful.
Don’t sleep on this one and miss out! This sweet and gentle girl will make a great addition to a loving family who will spend time with her and included in the family fun. Summer would do well in a home with another dog but could also be the Queen of her Castle where she could enjoy lots of attention and love showered only on her.
