Introducing Snowball Ann, our beautiful new girl, who has joined our family in the hopes of finding her for always home.

This sweet-natured beauty is snowball soft with fur that is a blend of Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees. She is as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside with her snow white face and little flecks that sparkle like snowflakes and snow dipped paws.  When she first arrived in her foster home, she was a bit timid in unfamiliar surroundings, but now she is comfortable and settling in nicely.

She has a furry foster golden sister who reminds her who is boss, but they are getting along fine as gal pals. Squirrels and bunnies of course peak her interest. She still hasn’t met kitties or kiddies, so we will have to stay tuned for an update on that as time goes on.

Snowball loves her stuffed toys and she lets her family know that she is ready for fun, by grabbing her toy to play and then she starts to jump around with joy. She just loves attention and wants to be with her foster mom and dad whenever she can.  She is in heaven when they all sit on the back porch together and enjoy the outdoors. Her foster family has a fenced in yard with lots of room to play but for now she would much rather be side by side with them for belly rubs and good southern lovin’.

Right now, the first order of business for GRRMF and Snowball is to get her the medical attention she needs right away. You see, she has tested positive for heartworm and needs to begin her three-month treatment plan of medication and rest. With her calm and loving nature and the care and affection of her adoring foster parents, this fluffy girl will have all the ingredients to prepare for new and happier times.

Her foster mom is giving her two medicated baths a week and medicine for ear infections to help soothe her skin and ears. She will need plenty of rest as part of the heartworm treatment plan, along with trips to the vet for her medication, but she is a-ok with that because she knows there will be lots of opportunity for snuggles and cuddles with her foster parents.

Won’t you help us get her on her way by sharing a donation for her treatment plan?  This sweetheart deserves to be heartworm free and live a healthy and wonderful life! She sends you her love and appreciation for caring enough to be part of her treatment and happy future!

Stay tuned for more updates and pictures as she begins her journey and looks forward to being matched to a family who will love and cherish her.
