I love it at my new foster home and am very comfortable with my foster sister Lucy. We love to play together! Now that I’m heartworm free, I can go on walks a lot more and I love it! My foster mom says I am a very good walker. She is also impressed with how well I pick up new things, like the ‘leave it’ command we’ve been working on. Food helps a lot with that too! I still have to be fed in my crate to avoid my foster siblings getting to my food. But otherwise I am very well behaved and we run around and play together when food isn’t involved. I do still like to counter surf, so my foster mom has to be careful. I am still as sweet and fun loving as ever, and I can’t wait to meet my furever family!

I’m loving it here in my new foster home and my new foster mom says I am a very sweet and energetic boy! I started my heart worm treatment last week and sadly can’t exercise as much as I want, but I’m a very obedient boy and go into my crate without complaining and I settle down once I realize mom won’t throw the ball for me. She has also realized I like water, as I took an unexpected dip in the lake! So she thinks I would be happy in a home with a pool and a big yard. I’ve still got a way to go so please continue donating and checking back for more on my progress!

Hi there, my name is Pongo! I was brought here to GRRMF in hopes of starting over and getting a new “leash” on life!

I’ve enjoyed it here at my current foster but I’m getting ready to go on a new adventure and meet a new foster. I’m excited but I will miss my friends here. I get along with the dogs and cats that my foster has and I love being with my foster mom! She says that I have no concept of personal space, but I just call it being affectionate and showing my humans how much I love and appreciate them! I LOVE toys and am continuing to learn how to share them with my foster siblings. I also love food and can get protective when someone comes too close to me while I’m eating. My foster mom hasn’t noticed much interest in other animals, like squirrels or lizards, but I also haven’t had much chance to explore and see them that much.

Although I do have a lot of energy and love playing with my toys, I’ve had to rein this in for a while because I have heartworm and can’t exercise too much. I am fed in my crate so that I can eat in peace without worrying about my foster siblings coming for my food. I am generally well behaved and I know how to sit, stay, and give my paw. I am a very sweet and loving dog and I am very excited about my future! I am hoping that you can help get me to a loving forever home with donations for my heartworm treatment. I would be forever grateful with however much you can give. And after you donate, don’t forget to check back for updates on my progress!
