Hi, I’m Orla! I am an energetic and sweet golden who loves hanging out with my humans! I’d love to find an active family who enjoys romping around the yard, playing fetch, going on walks and exploring the world. I promise to give you all my unconditional love if you’ll give me never ending belly rubs and snuggles.
I’ve doing great here in my foster home, and my foster mom says that she loves seeing me blossom and open up as I adjust. I enjoy being in the backyard and love to roughhouse and do zoomies, as well as jump high to retrieve my toys! When I’m ready to cool off, I like lying under the water that comes out of the hose! I’m good at keeping watch while indoors and like to sit at the front window to watch what’s going on outside, sometimes barking at the people who pass by. My foster mom says it is not usually hard to find me, because I love to be near my humans and am usually by their side or behind their chair! I love attention and affection and will beg for more if I don’t get
enough. It’s hard to ignore my sweet face!
I am very well behaved and am working on some new commands. Walks are a lot of fun and I like chasing after squirrels and birds and greeting other dogs. My foster mom has been great at helping me adjust in new environments if I get scared. I like to take my time in getting used to new people. Once you greet me though, I am very affectionate and friendly, and I can’t wait to show off more of my personality in my forever home!
