Oliver is going to melt your heart the minute you meet him. This sensitive pup who is red-golden in color with a pure golden heart doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He loves everything and everybody. He is smart, an exuberant fetcher, and all-around good boy. 
He’s a big boy but gentle and polite. He loves being brushed, takes meds without fuss, and lives to be petted and cuddled. According to his foster mom, Oliver loves children and plays well with them. He has been friendly with the dogs he has met on walks and loves cats. He has learned not to chase them, but still wants to be friendly.
Oliver is house trained, and very polite about asking to go outside. He does not use a crate and would rather be with you than behind a gate. He is good at self-entertainment as long as he knows someone is around to love him. Yes, being near you is one of his favorite things. He is not a big fan of car rides, but he will be patient with a little encouragement and reassurance.
Oliver is a smart boy and knows his commands including sit, stay, paw, down, leave it, with me, wait, and come. He has learned to walk well on a lead and is very efficient at getting his business done when walked or in the yard supervised.
Oliver is truly a family dog. He is happy posing for pictures, or watching you go about your day. He would love a family with children to play with, dogs and cats to share his toys, and adults to feel safe with.
