This beautiful lady is a big girl, but very sweet and patient. Nola is always ready to curl up by your side if you want to give her a good brushing or belly rub. She will share a huge smile when you shower her with attention and kind words. Nola enjoys spending time with people of all ages, especially children, but she is content and relaxed to have some alone time too.
Nola is staying in a home with cats, and she absolutely adores them. The cats started out being a little more skeptical of this new relationship, but now they all nap together. Nola is very social and polite with other dogs she meets on her walks. She thinks it is fun to stalk the squirrels, but she prefers to just look and not chase them. Watch her play in the yard.
Nola is house trained and does not need to use a crate. She knows commands like sit, stay, come, down, leave it, and wait. She is a quick learner and eager to be rewarded with any treats you toss her way. Nola is calm and relaxed when she rides in the car. Although she is a bit wary of loud noises, she hasn’t shown any fear with thunderstorms.
Nola recently had a benign growth removed from her chest. She is healing well and taking her follow up medications like a champ!
