Maddie is a beautiful golden retriever, who is just as loving and sweet as they come! She is looking for a new home that can give her the attention and time that she deserves. This girl always has a smile on her face, a wagging tail and just loves being near her humans!
She gets along great with dogs and cats, and has lived with both previously. Maddie enjoys bunnies, too! This sweet girl would absolutely love a new playmate to run around with, in a secure, fenced-in backyard, of course! She is very playful, adores kids, and has lived with them before. Maddie would happily enjoy being a part of all the fun family activities: swimming in the pool, going for car rides, walking on a leash, playing fetch, and even going to the beach! When Maddie meets new people for the first time, she likes to give them a hug! And bring on the belly rubs and have the dog brush handy! She loves being loved! And Maddie enjoys helping out in the kitchen during dinner time!
Maddie knows her basic commands and would benefit from someone working with her on some more force-free leash training. She may pull a little at first, but after a short amount of time, this stunning girl will be walking proudly by your side! She is not fond of thunderstorms, loud cars, or motorcycles, so playing music or speaking softly, while petting her, helps to calm her down.
