Surrendered because her family counld no longer take care of her, Luna Ann is hoping to become a loving companion to a new family. Well mannered and sweet, she is one you will not be able to resist. Her fluffy coat and bushy tail will entice you to pet her and you will constantly be wanting to show her off.
Her favorite pasttime is being with her human; she enjoys lying right next to her foster mom or following her around the house. Rolling around on the floor is her newest way to remind her foster mom that she’s here and wants belly rubs and love.
Luna roams freely in an enclosed back yard just checking everything out not overly concerned by the squirrels or other critters. Right now she doesn’t show much interest in her toys, but that could change as she settles in more. One thing she really enjoys is her walks. She gets very excited when she hears the word “outside” and is ready to go. Since it is so hot right now, her walks are limted to about a mile, but it sounds like she’d be willing to do more in cooler weather. There are no dogs in her foster home, but she seems quite interested when she sees other dogs on her walks, maybe she’d like a friend. She has had little contact with cats except for watching her roommate from the other side of the gate.
Luna is completely house trained and doesn’t need to be crated. Since she is nervous of loud noises especially thunderstorms, her foster mom has made a secure spot inside the crate when a storm is coming. Blankets cover the outside so it is dark and cozy for her. She needs a safe haven during the storm, and if she can get to her crate it seems to help her. After the storm passes, she needs extra belly rubs and hugs to help her feel better.
Luna knows her basic commands: sit, lie down, wait, leave it and shake. She is the perfect lady who can’t wait to share her life with you. This black haired beauty with her beseeching eyes will win your heart as soon as you see her.
