This sweet as candy young girl was lovingly surrendered by her family facing a serious illness. We don’t want you to worry Lala, we will find you a wonderful and happy forever home.
Meet Lala who is as precious as a melody and will make your heart sing. At 7 months old, she has already mastered so many tasks, that she is simply pure joy! Our new puppy girl loves every person and every doggie she meets.
She has two foster furry siblings that she is so happy to be around – and loves to try and exercise her puppy antics with them. She is fascinated with her recent discovery of her fishy siblings swimming around in the aquarium. We need to give some medical help to this pretty young lady. We noticed upon arrival that she seemed to be limping a bit and we had to get to the bottom of it. So our veterinarian took x-rays and discovered that she does have some hip damage. At such a young age, the prognosis for her to be pain free and lead a fabulous life is excellent but she will need to have a femoral head ostectomy better known as an FHO surgical procedure.
This type of procedure is done to restore pain-free mobility to a diseased or damaged hip which will help this girl to live the awesome life she so deserves.
As she prepares for surgery over the next few weeks, Lala will continue to lead her puppy life with her foster family. Her foster dad has taken her to the pet store and a very big home improvement store where she behaved like a very good young lady – to make him proud! She loves every activity that they do together, including belly rubs, brushing her hair, and of course playing with toys. She knows some commands like sit, down and wait. Together they are working to build her repertoire more each day. She also is crate trained when needed and eats her dinner in there – to give her furry siblings some space. Her good behaviors and habits will help to have a smooth recovery after surgery.
Lala has that shining Velcro quality of a Golden Retriever and just loves to follow her foster dad wherever he goes. She doesn’t hesitate to tell him when she wants his attention or when it is time for her to step outside and do her business.
Good manners, smart, loving, beautiful and adorable in every way – this girl will be a delight for some lucky family.
First though, she needs both yours and our help to get this surgery taken care of to help her get on her way. Please consider a donation for this precious puppy to help speed her on her way to her new future filled with happiness, love and a fun loving playful, pain free life.
