Hi, I’m Ladybug! I was brought to GRRMF when my owner’s living situation changed and they could no longer care for me.

I am adjusting to my foster home slowly but surely. New people are scary to me, and I’m still having a bit of trouble with my foster’s teenage children, although I will accept pets from her daughter. My foster mom says that I am never aggressive, I just bark and run away. I get along well with my foster dog siblings, though, particularly one of my foster furry brothers. I’m good with the other two as well, although sometimes I have a problem with the concept of personal space and will just step over them to get to where I want to go! They’re usually pretty tolerant of it. I LOVE playing fetch and could do it all day. I’m still learning how to take walks on a leash and usually just go in circles, but my foster mom thinks with time and patience I will get used to it. She loves my howl that I do when she leaves the house, and says that it is adorable. After she’s gone, I will settle down though and sleep on the couch. My name may be Ladybug, but my foster mom says I am truly a love bug and a cuddle bug when I’m with people I trust. I have so much love to give and I love getting it in return!

I do my best to be a good girl and I’ve learned the word “out” and am working on “sit” and “off.” Off is easier for me than sit, since I am very excitable and a jumper! I have to be separated from my foster siblings at meal time and when treats are given out, since I’m a foodie and get very excited around it. Who doesn’t? I am house trained and I have ear drops that my foster mom has to give daily, but I am good about it and I don’t give her any trouble. I am a super sweet lady and love bug and with time and patience, I will give that love to any family who will have me!
