Fluff came to us when kindhearted good Samaritans found him wandering the streets and wanted to make sure he was given a loving home. He spent his first few nights with the vet to make sure he was a healthy, happy boy. His first night in his foster home went smoothly and he was grateful to have a comfy place to stay.
Don’t let Fluff’s age fool you. He may be 12 years old but he’s very fast and playful! He loves to run in the yard, and also has fun wrestling and playing tug with the rope. He enjoys playing fetch and retrieving the ball for you. This sweet guy carries his ball around in his mouth almost all the time.
Chasing squirrels is one of Fluff’s favorite activities. He loves to watch the squirrels and birds from the screened porch and will try to catch them when the opportunity arises. So far he hasn’t been quite fast enough and those pesky squirrels have eluded him.
Fluff is an affectionate boy who loves getting belly rubs. He likes to stay fairly close to you but isn’t shy at all. He’s a smart and confident guy! He knows his commands and listens very well, and is already housebroken. His foster family reports that he does well when left alone in the house and doesn’t need a crate. He has gotten up on the sofa but only because he was invited to get on it. He’s also good around other dogs and isn’t much of a barker. He does snore though, and sometimes even makes snoring noises when he’s not asleep.
This lovable boy will make a wonderful companion and can’t wait to find a forever home where he can soak up lots of love and affection!
