Hi! My name is Finn and I am new to GRRMF and looking forward to meeting my new family!

I have already made myself at home with my foster family and their pets including another golden and two cats. I get along well with the entire family and I really enjoy barking at the cats. Who doesn’t love some harmless fun with their siblings?

My foster mom says that I am very vocal – although she calls it whining! I love to cuddle and will bury my head in your lap while singing (again, some may call it whining) to let you know how happy I am. I will be loud when I get a little anxious or excited, and sometimes just because I want your attention. I may not always be the quietest boy, but just think of all of the fun we will have talking to each other!

I love to participate in activities like going for a walk or a swim, but my absolute favorite is playing fetch with a tennis ball.  I can be a little possessive when it comes to my tennis ball, and although I won’t growl, I will snatch it back if another dog tries to grab it from me.

When I go for a walk, my foster mom says I am really good on the leash and I won’t pull you. I love to stop and say hello to all the kids in the neighborhood too. Right now, I have some blisters on my paws so while they are healing, I have been wearing some stylish booties when I go outside.

I am housebroken and I don’t need to use a crate. Although I can freely roam the house, I will never be far from your side. You never know when you might want to curl up on the couch and snuggle. I know the sit command and my foster family is helping me to practice some others like down. I want to make sure you will be impressed with my manners when you bring me home.

I can’t wait to meet my new family! I hope there are lots of tennis balls (hint!).
