Coconut loves her therapy work with children and seniors of all ages. This young and loving
golden is so happy with attention; she enthusiastically stuffs herself into your lap when you sit on the floor. She has years of experience as a family member herself, with two small children at home, young ones are her specialty. She is the mascot for a youth soccer team; their faces light up whenever they see sweet Coconut coming to cheer them on.
Her therapy work with Tara has encompassed senior homes and a juvenile arthritis foundation convention, where the children lavished love and affection on this gentle, gorgeous dog. At the convention, they couldn’t believe Tara’s good fortune to be able to take Coconut home with her as their family dog.
When Coconut is not visiting therapy venues, she loves to play on the beach or zoom about the yard, chasing her tail and showing off that beautiful golden spirit of love and joy. The ability to stuff herself into a lap is an amazing skill and much appreciated by the lucky person who is honored with her presence. Of course, she is a team player par excellence with the youth soccer gang, too. With her Basic Manners training, she is always a lady. Tara and Coconut look forward to working towards obtaining their Canine Good Citizen certification and to many more events and visits with both kids and senior citizens.
