I’m really getting adjusted to my foster home and I’m enjoying it! I have a foster brother and he seems to be okay, but we do like to compete to be the boss of the other. One of the rules I’m trying to establish is don’t touch my stuff! I think I’m winning. Competing with other dogs may be enjoyable, but I love my humans and I want to be near them at all times. I may be big, but there’s no reason I can’t be a lap dog! I love to crawl in my human’s lap and snuggle with them. My tail wags like crazy if they talk to me as well. I just love giving and receiving affection! They also help to comfort me when I hear scary, unexpected noises. I am crate trained, but my affection for my humans means that I don’t like being crated because I have to be apart from them. My foster mom is also teaching me commands and there is a trainer who is coming to help me be the best dog I can be!
I unfortunately also have an uphill battle ahead because I am heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon. However, I know I can beat this with the help of my foster, the vet and other wonderful people at GRRMF, and YOU! If you can help, please click on the button to donate and I will be forever grateful for your generosity! This is just a bump in the road on my way to the rest of my life and y’all can help me begin my journey to meeting my forever family. Once you donate, don’t forgot to check back to get updates on my progress!
