Check this cutie out!  Buffy is a special needs puppy who came to GRRMF from a breeder who knew that she would be well cared for medically and would be able to find a loving forever home. Buffy has an ectopic ureter which means she leaks urine all the time.  She will have surgery by a specialist for this condition in the near future.

In the meantime, her foster mom says, “Buffy is everything that is wonderful about puppies. She is curious, floppy, soft, full of the zoomies, ferocious with her razor teeth and super silly!”

Buffy fits right is in with her fur siblings, they enjoy her antics and don’t hesitate to put her in her place when they have had enough puppy nonsense.  In addition to learning dog language, she is working on her sit and leash walking manners.

Buffy is making good progress with her potty training even though her medical conditions makes the process a little more challenging.  She is accustom to her crate when her foster parents need to go out for a few hours and it’s her comfy place at bedtime.

This little darling is a born explorer who loves to go for walks and have a good run.  She also enjoys the family boat rides and is working on honing her doggy paddling skills. Buffy is a  growing, beautiful, Golden Retriever who seems to think she is a Yorkie – she wants to be close and in your lap all the time.  She gets a lot of socialization and loves to greet and interact with everyone, but her favorite place is to be cuddled up next to her foster mom and dad.

It’s clear to see that this young pup isn’t letting her medical condition get in her way.  Her surgery will be expensive and it will take time for her to heal.  With your generous support and donations, Buffy will be ripping her diaper off, zooming around and leaping in the air with gratitude.  Yippee-thanks for helping me!
