Bella is one sharp pooch and is learning good doggie manners very quickly. Both Bella and her bonded sister Gigi are receiving weekly training and their foster dad can see an improvement already. Bella is a very energic puppy and loves to play fetch and be active. She’s also very protective of her sister and foster family. She does need to be crated at night, but goes in very happily. Her foster dad thinks both dogs would do best in a home with no other pets and a family with a good amount of time to spend with them.
Incredibly smart. Eager to please. Exceptionally attentive. All this and she’s only a puppy! But be warned, she is a puppy and this beautiful girl needs a family with the time and patience to teach her good doggy manners.
Her foster dad is amazed by how Bella is so quick-witted and easy to teach. It might also come from the fact that she is so loving.
Bella is bonded with her sister Gigi, another puppy. The two are never far apart and depend on each other, although Bella is clearly the ringleader of the two! Bella and Gigi love wrestling and playing together. Like typical siblings, they always want what the other has, and will romp around trying to steal the toy. Their foster dad says it’s very cute to watch.
Bella is housebroken, crate trained and knows some commands already. She’s not a big fan of car rides and does counter surf for food, but her foster parents are confident she’s smart enough to learn right from wrong.
One of our trusted veterinarians believes Bella and Gigi are an Anatolian Shepherd – Golden Retriever mix. Anatolian shepherds are a very old and rare breed. They can trace their roots back thousands of years to hunting and herding dogs in Mesopotamia. Today, Anatolian’s are prized for their intelligence, strength, speed and agility, and keen hearing and eyesight. They are natural protectors and extremely loyal. They are large dogs and need a good deal of physical exercise and space to run.
Bella and Gigi are beautiful, loving puppies who need a family to help them become the spectacular girls they are meant to be.
