Howl-O-Ween Petacular in Cocoa Village…

GRRMF participated in the 1st Annual Howl-O-Ween Petacular on Saturday, 10/29/16, in Cocoa Village.  There were dogs of all shapes, sizes, colors and ages!  Some in costumes… some in their own fur.  A miniature Pony even dropped by!  There was food, beverages, costume contests, a Pet Promenade and lots of raffles, too.  Janet T. couldn’t have asked for better weather for her 1st annual event….a nice breeze and the GRRMF booth was in the shade under the huge gazebo!

At the GRRMF table, raffle tickets were sold for 7 very nice gifts.  A Candy Corn Guessing Game was also held with very nice prizes going to the person who guessed how many were inside a large glass candy dish.  GRRMF merchandise was sold and donations were happily accepted.

Volunteers from the DECA Club, Merritt Island High School were available to help anyone in need, from manning tables to being judges, a very big thank you to these wonderful students.

Also a Very Special Thanks to Becky S. for manning the GRRMF tables the entire time and for helping break-down at the end.  GRRMF can’t thank you enough for all you do for us, a very special friend indeed!

Big furry thanks to Reggie C. & “Mr. Barkley” for volunteering, too.  The GRRMF booth wouldn’t be complete without you.  We never have “too many” Golden’s.  I know people would really love to meet and greet more than just one but Mr. Barkley is a true Gentleman who lovingly accepts all the attention.

GRRMF will also be receiving a third of the proceeds (along with Florida Dachshund Rescue and the S.P.C.A. of Brevard) raised from this event.
