Join all your GRRMF friends for a great day of fun for you and your dog! Our fall GRRMF GoldenFest reunion will “tailgate” with this wonderful annual event in Dunedin. We will have a reserved area by our GRRMF Event tent for all our famiies and dogs to sit together.

We hope to see you at our West Coast GoldenFest “Tailgate” reunion on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Suncoast 15th Annual Dogtoberfest event at Highlander Park, 1920 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin, FL 34698 from 11:00am – 5:00pm. There is a $5.00 parking fee per car for this event.

The weather forecast looks to be awesome as we encourage our volunteers, adopters and GRRMF friends to join us for activities planned by the event coordinator, Suncoast Animal League. Here is their link to the event https://www.dogtoberfest.info/.

Find us when you arrive, by looking for our white GRRMF tent (with a suspended banner and our “sandwich board” sign out front). Please sign in and pick out a couple of free goodies from our welcome table bin! We have an adjacent area under the trees reserved for you to join us, set up your chairs and enjoy the fellowship of our golden lover community of GRRMF friends and families.

Here is a list of what to bring.

• Your family including your dog/crowd/child friendly dog (always on leash please)
• Chairs and/or blanket to sit on
• Water and bowl for your dog
• Crate / X-pen for time-outs, if required
• Picnic lunch for you and your family if not purchasing from event food trucks.
• Sunblock, hat and camera
• Pickup bags for doggie clean up
• Dogs should be on no longer than a 6 foot fixed leash at all times. No flexi leads please!
• Gently used collars and/or leashes for our foster dogs  (please leave in the bin by the welcome table)
• Money to shop at our golden goods table!. We will have our beautiful 2024 GRRMF calendar, super special designed GRRMF bandana’s and other goodies to buy or order online. Cash or credit card accepted. Also some of the Suncoast Animal League activities you may want to participate in have an entrance fee for a donation to their organization.

Dunedin is a great dog friendly community and this event is one of our favorites every year we have attended.  We will have a GRRMF Event tent for the public to stop by and see our terrific volunteers and their golden ambassadors!  Learn about our rescue and golden dog care. Purchase a 2024 GRRMF calendar (or two),  bandannas and more.  100% of all purchases at the GRRMF tent go towards the care of the goldens in our rescue.
