For GRRMF rescue pup Teddy, his fur-ever-after happy home began when his new parents adopted him, a joyful memory that they know they will always remember. They immediately realized that Teddy is “the sweetest senior boy who deserves to have a loving home for the rest of his days.”
Teddy is the true definition of a golden retriever as he absolutely greets everyone he meets with an infectious smile and wagging tail. And, if possible, Teddy will bring a favorite toy in his mouth when he says hello. His go-to toy is (surprise!) his Lamb Chop stuffed animal although he will search out other toys as needed. In fact, Teddy loves his toys so much that he will excitedly throw them up in the air. He knows that makes his parents laugh, which makes him even more happy.
Teddy also loves going for car rides and tolerates with good humor the extended ones, such as when he went with his parents to visit family in North Carolina over the holidays. He really loved the change of scenery and meeting new family and friends. With his tender heart and gentle nature, Teddy was naturally a huge hit with everyone and received so much love and attention in return. He was extra gentle with elderly family members, which was extremely sweet to watch.
One of his favorite outings is to visit his best dog friend, Annie, at her house. Teddy also loves going on grocery runs, mainly because there is always something special for him. Teddy does enjoy his treats, especially his bedtime one, which his parents believe just might be his favorite part of the day!
Teddy brings so much joy to everyone around him. In return, it is only fitting that he has found a home where he is so very loved and appreciated. As his parents note, “We are so very lucky to have this wonderful boy in our lives.”
