Gadget’s Success Story

Gadget’s Success Story

When adopting a dog, that experience extends to the entire family, including all the existing furry ones! In the case of GRRMF rescue dog Gadget, his parents happily recall when they first introduced Gadget to his new brother Blaze. Any concerns of how the pups would get along were soon put to rest as Gadget and Blaze instantly bonded, creating such happy memories for the parents and the beginning of an inseparable friendship between the dogs.

Most dogs live for car rides; Gadget is absolutely no exception. Whether it’s the car or the golf cart, Gadget is on board for the experience, loving the air blowing in his face and taking in all the sights and smells. Gadget also enjoys his walks, especially if that means a trip to the farmer’s market in downtown Winter Garden.

Gadget is just a complete sweetie. He loves his stuffed toys but will happily share them with Blaze. He gently greets other people and dogs. Yet, Gadget also has some pretty fun habits. For example, he has a certain way of sitting on his haunches to beg for attention and pets that provides no end of amusement for his parents. Gadget is also incredibly good-natured about getting dressed up for holidays who doesn’t love a golden with rabbit ears?

It’s always so heartwarming to hear about rescue dogs finding such wonderful fur-ever homes. And for the adoptive families? Well, as Gadget’s parents say: “We love him! He has been a wonderful addition to our family.”
