One of the happiest moments for Delilah’s family was the very first one—walking her out to the car so she could finally head to her forever home. From that day on, she’s been a source of joy, laughter, and countless adventures.
Delilah is a sweet girl who loves affection, often sitting up on her haunches and gently placing her paws on her human’s leg to ask for a belly rub. What makes it even more special is the way she crosses her front legs over the arm giving the rub, as if to hold it in place and say, “Don’t stop!”
Her playful side shines every morning when she fetches a ball, always bringing it back with a happy rumble or growl, as though she’s cheering herself on. Fetching is her absolute favorite game, especially when swimming is part of the fun.
Delilah has also proven herself to be quite the adventurer. On a family trip to Wisconsin, she joined her humans and her golden sister Cece for a day of swimming, disc-fetching, and even tubing behind a boat. She adapted instantly, lying flat on her belly to stay balanced while riding the waves. A true water-loving golden!
Back home, Delilah and Cece keep life exciting with their own version of NASCAR. At the dog park, they zoom around a circular sandy trail through the trees, creating what their family affectionately calls the Dogtona 500. It’s a race no one wants to miss.
Smart, loving, playful, and brave, Delilah has settled beautifully into her furever home, and with each wag, belly rub, and joyful growl, she makes every day a new adventure.
