Bubba Franklyn, now called Tucker was a big decision for Barb and Rick, “Taking on the responsibility of a new family member is always one that makes us a little nervous,” reports Barb and Rick. “You don’t want to upset the balance of the household, but at the same time we were missing having a second dog and Tayla, our 5-year-old Golden, was missing having a friend after the passing of our GRRMF rescue Lily. Tucker has brought a whole new level of rowdiness to our home.
Tayla and Tucker are enthusiastic players and have toppled lamps and cleared tables. He is such a sweet, goofy and loving boy who likes to be close and does a bed check at night, giving us a little kiss before going back to sleep Tucker is a very active boy. While he enjoys wrestling with his sister and playing fetch, Tucker loves competing in frisbee and dock diving.
He takes weekly obedience/rally classes and has his first leg in Rally Obedience and has his Dock Junior (5 jumps in the 10 to 15-foot range) and Dock Senior titles (5 jumps in the 15 to 20-foot range) and needs one more jump to get his Dock Master title (20 to 24-foot range).
