The 4th of July was cause for a double celebration when Bailey began her new life.
Her proud parents’ happiest memory of that day – the day they brought her home – was how unphased she was by the fireworks, sleeping right through them without a care in the world.
Taking affection to an entirely new level, Bailey absolutely adores being by her family. Whatever they do, she insists ever so sweetly on playing a part in it. From lying next to her mom while she watches TV to lounging close to her dad outside while he works on his car, Bailey is there. And although she loves to fetch, she only fetches when it tickles her fancy, loosely translated to mean “on
occasion.”
Tickling her mom’s funny bone and making her laugh is the way Bailey moves up against her parents and nudges them when she wants to be loved. Not to mention the way she runs to get her chew toy and somehow tosses it up in the air to catch it. Having recently shed 20 pounds of excess weight, a sleeker, streamlined Bailey, who walks every day, is more energetic and has a puppyish pep in her step when she does.
Her favorite form of vacation is travelling with her family to her sister’s farm where she eagerly explores the grounds and frisks and frolics about with all of her canine cousins.
In the word’s of her besotted parents: “Bailey is such a joy and such a sweet, gentle girl. We were so blessed to have her join our family.”
