Update 6/9/21

Sheabya is feeling much better and is now ready to be matched to her forever family. Her infections have cleared and she is best described as a dream girl.

Today she is having a dental exam to polish her pretty smile so she is set to put her best paw forward,  whenever her new family is found and is ready for her.  Sheabya will need a committed family who is willing to help her with a special diet and specialized testing to make sure she remains “stone free”

She is a brave girl with no behavioral issues and so much love to give. This sweetheart is waiting for someone who is looking for a dream girl with ladylike manners, who loves to go for nice walks and who will love her dearly for always!

Please meet Sheabya (pronounced Sheeba), our stunning new dark haired beauty with adorable eyes.  She was recently abandoned by someone and we couldn’t wait to share that we are so thrilled to have her as part of our GRRMF family.

Sheabya has the most beautiful shiny coat with a blaze of white under her chin and in case you didn’t notice, her pretty paws look like they were dipped in sweet white chocolate.  Well that’s not a surprise as her foster mama says she is the sweetest girl and so very loving.

This fabulous girl is not very active right now, but that probably has a lot to do with not feeling her best because of bladder stones, a UTI, skin infection and a mammary mass.  She will be having surgery in the next few days to remove the mass and all paws are crossed that the results will be good news. Her foster family is working to help her dissipate the stones through good nutrition and the UTI and skin infection through medication.

She has two young children in her foster family, that that she adores and a furry foster guinea pig named Oreo. She just loves Oreo and checks on him often throughout the day and then even lays next to him during nap time. Could she be any cuter or sweeter?

Bad habits?  None! Oops, she does have one teensy flaw, she enjoys snoring when she sleeps. She loves to fetch her squeaky ball, although she does not “run” because she doesn’t feel very well. She catches on quickly to daily routines and loves to nap next to her foster mom’s desk when she is working. Being with her family is her favorite pastime and she wags her tail all day long.

Yet with all of the issues that Sheabya is working through – she is nothing but happy, loving and obedient.  She loves the usual belly rubs, car rides, walks and certainly enjoys playing with her toys. Being groomed is one of her favorite activities which is why her fur coat must be so beautiful.  If there is a thunderstorm in the air, she loves to be wrapped in a nice blanket and sit on her foster mom’s lap to feel safe.

Let’s all get together and help this sweetheart heal and flourish so that she can have an awesome new beginning and a wonderful life.  She so deserves it and if you can help her in any way with your donation, we promise you, she will be a very grateful girl.
