This boy gets along great with children, and lived with a small child previously. Other dogs in the house? No problem! He enjoys their company, respects their space, and fits right in with the pack! He just discovered cats at his foster’s home, and is totally cool to coexist with them!
Sammie thinks lizard chasing is the best game ever! He enjoys car rides, playing with his dog toys, and strolling in the neighborhood on a leash. In addition, this boy will never say ‘no’ to a good belly rub! Sammie is house trained, so no worries if you need to leave the house for a while. He knows some basic commands, but this smart boy would be eager to learn more. To welcome you back home, Sammie’s signature move is his ‘happy dance’!
Sammie had a history of seizures at his prior home, however he has not experienced an episode since he has been with his foster family. He will undergo a full neurological exam soon. Please check back to see the results.
Sammie just wants to live his best life, and is looking for a new family to love him and love you back! Are you ready to snuggle up with this lover boy, and give him the ‘fur ever’ home he deserves?
Sammie’s adoption fee is $650, which helps to defray the average $2,000 expense per dog in our rescue. Click here to learn about the adoption process.
