A kind hearted soul recognized that Rosie needed help.  She had been living with several other animals, in a backyard, spending almost all of her life in the backyard, with very little human interaction or attention.  Knowing that Rosie could not be left there, she was scooped up by a good Samaritan who contacted GRRMF for help.  A true rescue indeed!

In the beginning if you approached her, she would hide but if you let her come to you, she will smile and kiss you all over.  Living outside with all sorts of animals taught Rosie that dogs, cats and kitties are awesome pals and she loves them all.  She is still learning about the two footed creatures called people and coming out of her shell.  By following the lead of her foster brother, who has been a tremendous influence on her, Rosie is learning just how happy life can be.  Her foster mom has showered her with tender loving care and has taught her so much already about love and compassion in Rosie’s new and big world.

Together all three of them are working on riding in a car.  You see, she had never been in a car before until she was rescued.  Rosie’s foster bro whispered in her ear that good things come from car rides because he too used to be afraid of them.  So they brave it together and are learning from their foster mom that everything will be just fine.

Life is good now for Rosie and she needs a family whose home and hearts are filled with love, compassion and patience for this sweetie and of course a wonderful furry sibling who will be her guardian angel and continue to show what she has learned so far – that is life is good and as a matter of fact – LIFE IS GOING TO BE GREAT!
