Say hello to this sweet girl, Meli, a stunning, reddish-colored golden retriever, who is ready to be your Valentine! This beautiful girl wants to find a new family to enjoy life with. She has such a lovable disposition and wants a family that has the time to give her the attention she deserves to have an active life.
Meli is a typical three-year old bundle of energy and has one speed—FAST! And fun is her middle name! She is ready to play, and is always up for a game of tug-of-war, so bring on the toys! Meli enjoys anything soft in her mouth. And she loves, loves, loves swimming, and enjoys having fun in the pool!
She really adores her humans and accepts strangers easily, has lived with a toddler for almost one year, and although she has not lived with dogs or cats, she gets along well with other dogs she has met.
Meli does very well on a leash, although she may pull a little, so patient training would be beneficial. She is crate trained but really does not need it. This sweet girl loves to be petted and groomed, so have your dog brush handy! She does not really bark much, unless she is very excited or is responding to another dog. She is very curious about squirrels, birds, and lizards, too!
