Lady is a bouncy, joyful girl who believes life is best celebrated with a few excited spins. When she’s happy, she twirls in little circles like she’s throwing her own personal party and everyone around her is invited.
She’s currently living in a foster home with another dog. While she started out a bit shy at their first meeting, it didn’t take long for her to warm up and show her sweet, friendly nature. Lady hasn’t been around cats yet, and she hasn’t shown any interest in chasing squirrels or lizards.
Give Lady a basket full of tennis balls and squeaky toys, and she’s perfectly content entertaining herself. Her absolute favorite is her Kong toy, which she flings across the room before pouncing like a playful pro. When playtime wraps up, she will execute a dramatic flop onto her back, patiently waiting for a well-earned belly rub.
Lady is house trained and comfortable with her crate. She casually wanders in and out of it during the day and uses it when her foster family leaves the house. She already knows a few commands and is currently polishing up sit, down, and stay. She’s smart, attentive, and eager to learn which makes training fun for everyone.
When meeting new people, Lady can be a little timid at first and appreciates time and space to get comfortable. When she’s unsure, she sticks close to her foster mom’s side like a true Velcro dog. Once she feels safe, her affectionate and playful personality shines through.
Lady is looking for a forever family who will continue to help build her confidence as she explores new places, people, and experiences. In return, she promises spins, snuggles, belly rub requests, and a whole lot of love.
